IELTS Speaking - Vocabulary and Practice

In Speaking Part 2 you get a card and speak for two minutes. The cards are not random most of them ask you to describe one of a few things: a person, a place, an object, an event, or a time when something happened to you.

Nobody gets a higher score by using a difficult word in the wrong place. You get a higher score by using the right word at the right moment, in a sentence that sounds natural.

How this module works:
- Each word comes inside a real sentence first. You read it, work out what it means, then check if you were right.
- You then complete exercises with missing words.
- Finally, you record yourself using the vocabulary in three speaking tasks connected to the topic.

This module is completely free.
