Course overview
IELTS Academic Writing - Personalised Learning
Find out exactly what is holding your writing back, then fix it step by step. This course tests your writing first, shows you your biggest problems, and gives you lessons chosen for you.
How it works
Write. Complete an IELTS Academic Task 1 or Task 2 under exam conditions.
Get your diagnosis. AI reads your essay and finds the top 5 issues most affecting your band score.
Learn what matters. You get lessons picked for your errors, not a general syllabus.
Write again. Submit a second draft and see which issues are solved, improved, or still there.
What you get
- The full IELTS Laboratory Academic Writing book (12 chapters, Task 1 and Task 2)
- Online exercises and comprehension checks for every chapter
- 10 AI feedback cycles with a band estimate for each submission
- Your top 5 priority issues for every essay, in order of importance
- A personalised learning pathway: your errors choose your lessons
- Draft 1 vs Draft 2 comparison so you can see your progress
Who this course is for
You need band 7 or higher in IELTS Academic Writing
You are stuck at band 6 or 6.5 and do not know why
You practise regularly but your score does not move
You are ready to write, get feedback, and write again
Who this course is not for
You want every small mistake corrected in every essay
You prefer watching videos to writing
You are preparing for IELTS General Training (this course is Academic only)
Why this is different
Most feedback gives you a score. This course tells you what mistakes you are making and gives you a chance to try again.
Lessons are written by a qualified teacher (MA TESOL and Applied Linguistics) and improved using data from real learner submissions - currently on pilot 1.1.
In our rough pilot 1.0 in Spring 2026, 8 of 10 learners improved 0.5 bands in an average of 7 days. We are launching version 1.1 in August 2026 with improvements.
